Summer reno: Replacing every window in a large Toronto home

Better View Solutions works on a number of homes every year, but this project was one of our biggest so far this year. This large home in North York was undergoing a complete renovation, and before the kitchen was rebuilt, and the walls were painted, we replaced every single window with Heritage Maximum windows. The whole project took a few days, and the results made a big difference in this incredible home.

One of the biggest elements of the project was replacing the front wall of windows, which had six large windows, plus three more over the front door. Then there was a large bay window in the study, six more windows in the kitchen, and numerous other windows in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and basement.

Many of the casement windows featured Window City’s hinged design that opens up to 90 degrees, and includes premium hardware with a number of finish options to suite any home.

Beyond securing the home, and removing drafts and leaks, the new windows also made the exterior look brand new, modernizing the entire look of the home and getting it ready for the final renovation work.
